Some of our Real People

Hi! I’m Kelly. University of Washington Business School grad. Entrepreneur. Marketing Freelancer. Web designer. Over the past 7 years (that’s like a bazillion in internet years) I’ve been testing and refining different ways to build, host, and manage sites. I think I’ve finally got it just right using a mix of open source and licensed software designed to make sites that can do the most with the least (i.e. clean, powerful code).  What does this mean for you? Your site is going to have every bell and whistle available while still being friendly for your visitors, both human and search engine.

Picking a web designer is a daunting task and I don’t envy your situation right now. In fact, I had such a hard time picking a web designer myself that I finally gave up and started down the almost decade long journey that brought me here. However, there is an easier way! I’m currently working on developing a free online class to help consumers of the web design business, such as yourself, avoid the common pitfalls of buying a website and make the most informed decision.

Of course, if that decision lands you back here, I look forward to sharing your online adventure! Good luck and welcome to the world of websites! -Kelly

My name is Caleb Johns. I live on Vashon Island with my wife Lauryth and beautiful daughter Isabeau. I received my B.A. from the Jackson School of International Studies at the University of Washington.

I am a freelance efficiency consultant, web designer and a student of culture, society and human interaction. I am fascinated by how the internet is shaping and being shaped by these forces. What does that mean for you? I specialize in usability, efficiency and design. I put this understanding to good use by helping create websites that are clearly representative of their creator’s purpose. I also believe that understanding not only the goal of a website (selling things or sharing ideas), but also the context (market and niche) that the website will be working in is necessary for success and I will help you incorporate that knowledge into the construction of your site. -Caleb

Generosity

We are coming to find that generosity is one of our driving principles. We give freely of information, advice (when appropriate), honesty, compassion, empathy and encouragement. This is how we prefer to relate to people and how we think very good customer service looks. We think it also is what drives customers to recommend us to their friends, who we love to meet and work with, allowing us to spend our time and money on client sites rather than advertising.
